PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which prevents the timing gap in printing between a case which includes a binding processing in a job and a case which does not includes the binding processing in the job, from occurring. SOLUTION: An engine controller 32 of a composite machine is characterized in that, when the binding processing is included in the job, whenever a drawing module 31a completes formation of an image of each page of the job (S102, S104 and S106), the image of the page in which the drawing module 31a completes formation of the image is printed by a printer part, and when the drawing module 31a completes formation of the images of all the pages included in the job (S107), the binding processing to the bundle of the papers printed by the printer part is performed by an after-treatment apparatus (S134).
