PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfecting printer which can perform both side printing to long recording paper using a small and cheap structure using a single printing head. SOLUTION: In the perfecting printer 1, recording paper 4 is transported via a printing position 11A of a printing head 11 along a first paper feeding path 6 and the surface is subjected to printing. Recording paper after printing cut to a predetermined length is collected from the leading end and wound on a winding core 18. The wound printing paper 4A is drawn from a rear end, fed to the first paper feeding path 6 from a second paper feeding path 22, and transported via the printing position 11A again and the rear surface is subjected to printing. Printing can be performed on both surfaces of the recording paper using the single printing head 11 by winding the recording paper after printing cut to the predetermined length and drawing the recording paper from the rear end.
