PURPOSE: A method and device for providing downlink control information are provided to provide uplink control information necessary for a new uplink MIMO transmission. CONSTITUTION: A receiving module(1121) receives downlink control information and downlink data from a base station. A transporting module(1122) transmits uplink control information and upward link data to the base station. A processor(1123) controls a terminal including the receiving module and the transporting module. The processor receives a UE-specific reference signal about each of N numbers of layers of downlink data transmitted from a respective phase of N numbers of layers through the receiving module. The processor demodulates downlink data based on the UE-specific reference signal.
