<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiation device that can uniformize illuminance on a surface to be irradiated, even if LEDs are varied in illuminance characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The light irradiation device includes a light source 3, in which multiple LEDs 23 for emitting light of an ultraviolet region are arranged on the same plane, and the light irradiation device emits light from the light source 3 to an irradiation region 6 facing the same plane. The light source 3 includes segment light sources 2, each being constituted of the LEDs 23, arranged on the same substrate and a light-guide part 24 that mixes light from the LEDs 23 and guides the mixed light to a light-emitting face; the segment light sources 2 are arranged on a plane direction along which substrates 21 are extended; the light-guide part 24 is a hollow cylinder that has a fixed length from the same plane to the light-emitting face and has an inner reflective surface; and the light-guide part mixes the light emitted from the LEDs 23, located in the segment light source 2 and will not emit a light to the light-emitting faces of the other segment light sources 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
