<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid paper container having a mouth plug, by which a liquid is smoothly poured out when the liquid content is poured out. <P>SOLUTION: The paper container for liquid having the mouth plug includes: a top surface panel which has the mouth plug; a front surface panel; a back surface panel which is confronted with the front surface panel; a pair of side surface panels which are connected with both of the right and left ends of the front surface panel and the back surface panel, and are connected with the top surface panel at respective upper end sections; and a bottom surface panel which is connected with the lower end sections of the front surface panel, the back surface panel and the pair of right and left side surface panels. The top surface panel consists of a curved surface which bends from the front side to the rear side. The front lower end section of the top surface panel is connected with the upper end section of the front surface panel consisting of a flat surface.
