<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel the influence of interlayer crosstalk by the minimum number of kinds of interlayer spacings. <P>SOLUTION: An optical recording medium has N (N≥4) recording layers, wherein the number of kinds of the spacings between neighboring recording layers is an integer M which is not more than the minimum integer of ≥log<SB>2</SB>(N). The recording layers have one or more AB blocks which are configured of four recording layers including a first layer spacing A, a second layer spacing B, and the first layer spacing A formed in this order. Furthermore, when there are three or more kinds of spacings (M≥3) in the recording layers, the optical recording medium has a third interlayer spacing C between recording layers configuring an AB block and recording layers other than the AB block containing the recording layers and adjacent to the recording layers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
