PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire further improved in steering stability, while decrease of abrasion resistance and hydroplaning resistance is suppressed. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire has a tread pattern bilaterally unsymmetrical about a tire equator line in a tread surface view, and has circumferential grooves extending in the tire circumferential direction, widthwise grooves extending in the tire width direction, and land portions partitioned by the circumferential grooves and widthwise grooves, on the tread surface. The width of an outside shoulder land portion in the tire width direction is 25-40% of the width of the tire grounding surface in the tire width direction. The widthwise grooves are provided more in an inside shoulder land portion than in the outside shoulder land portion. Groove walls of an outside circumferential groove adjacent to the outside shoulder land portion are formed with a first groove wall, a second groove wall, and a third groove wall, each having a different angle between the each wall and the normal line in the tire radial direction in the outside circumferential groove.
