PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery device providing a battery container for storing a battery, with an additional function such as safety other than the supply of a power source. SOLUTION: The battery device 20 includes a large diameter battery positive electrode terminal 22 and a large diameter battery negative electrode terminal 23 attached to a battery case body 21 of external dimensions equal to those of a large diameter battery. The predetermined number of small diameter batteries are stored inside. An external connection terminal 26 is connected to each connection path part by which a large diameter battery positive electrode terminal connection path 22 or a large diameter battery negative electrode terminal connection path 24 is divided, and the output of the battery device 20 is controlled using the external connection terminal 26.
