PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guide device improving convenience in route guidance. SOLUTION: A vehicle navigation device 10 guiding a drive route to a destination, is equipped with: a personal authentication part 1 acquiring trend information for drive trend for every destination of a driver; a running history holding part 2; an individual history database 3; a destination history holding part 4 and a congestion degree acquiring part 5 acquiring congestion information for a congestion degree to the destination; a map database 6 guiding a drive route to the driver based on the acquired trend information and the congestion information; a route search part 7; a screen input/output part 8; and a memory part 9.
