PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint device for a ceiling, which covers a joint part without causing a clearance gap even when the width of the joint part becomes half or one and a half times, is installed on the top of a ceiling panel even without a space of large dimensions, and uses a plurality of small ceiling panels. SOLUTION: The joint device 1 for a ceiling includes: a projecting bracket 4 fixed to at least one ceiling skeleton 3a of right and left ceiling skeletons 3a on the joint part 2 side; a pantograph-shaped contractible link mechanism 8 provided between the tip of the projecting bracket 4 and the other ceiling skeleton 3a; a ceiling panel supporting rod 9 for supporting the ceiling panel pivoted on the contractible link mechanism 8; a plurality of ceiling movable panels 10 fitted to the ceiling panel supporting rod 9 to overlap each other; fixed ceiling panels 11, 12 fixed to the right and left ceiling skeletons 3a and having the substantially same width as the ceiling movable panels 10; and a holding means 13 for holding the ceiling panel supporting rod 9 to be movable in the lateral direction.
