PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restoration method of cyanide polluted soil not only capable of economically treating cyanide contained in the soil at normal temperature but also capable of effectively removing, especially, a solid form cyanide with low solubility from the soil. SOLUTION: The restoration method of cyanide polluted soil is for restoring the soil polluted by cyanide and treating cyanide, and it includes: a collection step for collecting the soil polluted by the first cyanide in a solid form, and by gas or the second cyanide in a dissolved form; a cyanide separation step for dissolving the first cyanide in a solid form in a cleaning liquid, and for moving the second cyanide in a dissolved form into the cleaning liquid by separating it from the soil by mixing the soil with an alkaline cleaning liquid; a solid-liquid separation step for mutually separating the cleaning liquid and the soil; the first cyanide sedimentation step for sedimenting the first cyanide into the solid form again by acidifying the cleaning liquid containing cyanide; and a post-processing step for separating and processing the first cyanide sedimented in a solid form and the cleaning liquid.
