PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of effectively executing sterilization and deodorization. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner is provided with a circulation air path 45 for circulating exhaust of an electric blower 51 from the exhaust side of the electric blower 51 to the side of a dust collecting chamber 34. A mist generation means 53 for generating radical-containing mist is arranged inside the circulation air path 45. The radical-containing mist generated in the mist generation means 53 is circulated to the dust collecting chamber 34 and is repeatedly made to act on dust or the like inside the dust collecting chamber 34, and sterilization and deodorization are effectively executed.
