MANUFACTURING METHOD OF POLYPROPYLENE WAX DISPERSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a wax dispersion that disperses polypropylene particles uniformly and finely in an organic solvent. SOLUTION: A mixture of polypropylene with an organic solvent having a compounding ratio corresponding to that finally desired is beforehand subjected to measurement of a melting point and a crystallization temperature by means of a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The polypropylene is heated and melted in the organic solvent by raising the temperature of the mixture with stirring to a temperature not lower than the melting point of the mixture and yet near to the melting point as much as possible so that undissolved polypropylene does not remain. Then, the temperature is lowered to the crystallization temperature followed by termination of stirring to allow the temperature to drop down to a stable region where the crystallization growth of the polypropylene particles stops.
