PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carton carrying device which conveys tubular cartons at a proper position and condition even when receiving the tubular cartons at high speed. SOLUTION: The carton carrying device includes: a conveyor 12 which has force-feed members 23 arranged on an endless belt 15 so as to force-feed a carton 3 on the decline toward the downstream side; conveyors 16 which horizontally transfer the carton 3 across the conveyor 12 with an anteroposterior pair of support members 24, 25 arranged on endless belts 19, 22; and guide members 29, 30 which regulate the carton 3 floating from the conveyors 12, 16. At switching from the conveyor 12 to the conveyors 16, the carton 3 is force-fed by the conveyor 12 so that the front side of the carton 3 abuts on the front support members 24 of the conveyors 16, and the rear support members 25 of the conveyors 16 reach the rear side of the carton 3 with both the conveyors 12, 16 traveling, thereby switching from the force-feed drive by the force-feed member 23 to the supporting drive by both the support members 24, 25 in a predetermined position on the decline.
