The method involves impinging a hollow chamber (20) of a seal element (14) with preset pressure in a driving mode of a motor vehicle, where the seal element rotates a door (10) of the motor vehicle. The preset pressure is adjusted depending on a frequency range of body oscillations. The frequency range is selected depending on driving speed of the motor vehicle. The frequency range is selected depending on measured oscillation frequency of an area of a motor vehicle body. The pressure in the hollow chamber of the seal element is reduced in an idle mode of the motor vehicle.
