POLYMER FILM, FILM ROLL AND KNURLING-GIVING ROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make both the prevention of winding shifting and winding looseness in polymer film and the prevention of edge elongation stand together.

SOLUTION: A manufacturing device for film produces a strip polymer film. A knurling giving device gives knurlings 41 to the edge parts of the polymer film 11. The polymer film, to which the knurlings 41 are given, is taken up to a winding core and turned into a film roll. The knurling 41 has a projection projected from the surface of the polymer film 11. The projection has ridgelines 52 and intersections 53. The knurlings 41 are provided in the edge part under the condition that the total sum of the length of the ridgeline 52 in an unit area becomes above the predetermined value.
