<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of attaining a long lifetime for a light-emitting element and of illuminating uniformly the surface to be illuminated of the lighting object. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device (backlight device) is provided with a light source board 3, on which the light-emitting element 2 is mounted and a backlight chassis 1. Then, an opening portion 1d, which penetrates from the upper surface 1b side to the rear surface 1c side, is formed on the backlight chassis 1, and the rear face 1c and the mounting surface 3a face each other; and the light-emitting element 2 is exposed from the rear surface 1c side to the upper surface 1b side via the opening portion 1d, and the mounting surface 3a is in contact with the rear surface 1c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
