<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an optical article including a filter layer that is superior in antistatic effect and prevents adhesion of dust. <P>SOLUTION: An optical multilayer film filter 10 includes a filter layer 2 that is formed on an optical base material 1 directly or via another layer, transmits light of a predetermined wavelength range, and blocks light of a wavelength longer or shorter than the predetermined wavelength range.
