PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the socket part of an artificial leg for middle-aged or older who has a cut-off leg which is bony due to aging, a disease, or a simple surgery for a war injury. SOLUTION: Reviewing a conventional socket part and using the device divided into an outer socket and inner socket, in order to compensate for a subcutaneous tissue which is the cushioning layer of the cut end having become insufficient due to aging etc., the central portion of the lateral sides of the cut end is properly pressed with the flat surface, projecting portion, etc. of the inner wall of the socket to press out the subcutaneous tissue to the upper end portion and lower end portion of the socket to be used. Thus, the joint of the socket portion with the contained cut end is thicken, so that the moving properties of the artificial leg containing the cut end is increased to reduce the grazing damage of the skin etc. and a multi-purpose projecting portion is provided to increase self suspension properties.
