PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that although as a method for identifying the sex of eggs with the bulge of its head part as the standard is proposed from an ancient time, but in this method, the bulging based on the standard is not identified since the size of the eggs enlarged as the aging of parent birds progresses, and also the degrees of growth of the parent birds are different, and accordingly, it is hard to obtain an identification rate of 95 to 98% as in the case of anus identification or feather identification, which is the present method for identifying the sex. SOLUTION: By obtaining the phase of relaxation oscillation and a limit cycle based on the shape of the egg from images taken by three cameras arranged at a 45°interval, and by combining these factors, a theory for identifying the sex having a high identification rate is achieved.
