<p>Bone cement paste comprises e.g. (a) 15-50 wt.% of at least a mono-functional, hydrophobic methacrylic acid ester, (b) 40-85 wt.% of at least a filler, (c) 0.01-4 wt.% of at least a radical initiator soluble in the methacrylic acid ester (a) and having at least one peroxide group, (d) 0.01-4 wt.% of at least a radical initiator soluble in the methacrylic acid ester (a) and having no peroxide group, and (e) 0.000001-3 wt.% of at least an accelerator soluble in the methacrylic acid ester (a) and capable of forming radicals from the radical initiators (c) and (d). Bone cement paste comprises (a) 15-50 wt.% of at least a mono-functional, hydrophobic methacrylic acid ester, (b) 40-85 wt.% of at least a filler, (c) 0.01-4 wt.% of at least a radical initiator soluble in the methacrylic acid ester (a) and having at least one peroxide group, (d) 0.01-4 wt.% of at least a radical initiator soluble in the methacrylic acid ester (a) and having no peroxide group, (e) 0.000001-3 wt.% of at least an accelerator soluble in the methacrylic acid ester (a) and capable of forming radicals from the radical initiators (c) and (d), (f) 0.001-5 wt.% of at least one halide salt and (g) 0.2-3 wt.% of at least one crosslinking agent.</p> |
