<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an airbag device suppressing occurrence of difference in load exerted on left and right femurs of an occupant during a vehicle collision. <P>SOLUTION: The front passenger seat airbag device 10 includes a left bag 28L deployed between an instrument panel 16 and a left knee Kl upon receipt of gas supply; a right bag 28R deployed between the instrument panel 16 and a right knee Kr upon receipt of gas supply; an inflator 22 for supplying the gas to the left bag 28L and the right bag 28R; and a vent hole 46 for lowering the internal pressure of the left bag 28L located inside in the vehicle width direction than the internal pressure of the right bag 28R located outside, at least when the left bag 28L and the right bag 28R restrict both knees K. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
