PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of positional accuracy of a lens and an imaging device and lowering of resolution caused by a difference of thermal expansion between an outer holder and a lens holder. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: the lens 2; the lens holder 3 which holds the lens 2; a frame 5 which includes the cylindrical outer holder 4 for housing the lens 2 through the lens holder 3; and the imaging device 8 in which the lens 2 is arranged at a position of a predetermined distance and which includes a photodetector at a center part, wherein a rotary ring 7 rotating interlocked with rotation of the lens holder 3 is provided at an upper part on a subject side of the outer holder 4, and is fixed on the outer holder 4.
