PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front portion structure for glasses, which is configured such that when temples are opened or closed, no impact is applied to lenses attached to a front portion. SOLUTION: The front portion 1 has a double structure that has half rims 4 on the back of a front frame 3. In the front frame 3, the temples 2, 2 are foldably attached to corresponding endpiece portions 7, provided on both sides of the front frame 3, via corresponding joints 6, 6. As for the half rim 4, two approximately C-shaped half rim pieces 14, 14 having open upper parts are connected via connecting pieces 19, 19, ... with a fixed space 15 left between them.
