PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow satisfactory supply without exhausting oil in an oil containing chamber even when an oil discharge from an oil pump becomes large. SOLUTION: The oil supply device sucks in and sends to predetermined parts of an engine the oil in an oil pan 7 with the pump 17, recovers in the oil pan 7 and circulates the oil returned from the predetermined parts. The oil supply device includes a division plate 8 dividing the inside of the oil pan 7 to an auxiliary chamber 9 and a main chamber 10, a guide plate 20 guiding the oil returned from the predetermined parts into the auxiliary chamber 9, first and second suction pipes 15, 16 connected to the pump 17 and sucking in the oil with first and second suction ports 12, 13 situated in the auxiliary chamber 9 and the main chamber 10, respectively, a solenoid valve 18 provided in the middle of the second suction pipe 16 between the pump 17 and the second suction port 13, and a CPU variably controlling the opening degree of the solenoid valve 18 so that it is opened when engine rotation speed is higher than a predetermined value.
