PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide gears which reduces friction coefficient of tooth surfaces to which lubricating oil is supplied by making the thermal conductivity of the tooth surfaces smaller than that of a base material of the gears. SOLUTION: In the gears 1, 2 having tooth surfaces 5, 6 lubricated by a lubricant, the viscosity of which decreases with the rise of its temperature, the thermal conductivity of the tooth surfaces 5, 6 of the gears 1, 2 is relatively smaller than that of the base material of the gears forming the tooth surfaces 5, 6.
