An anti-theft mobile terminal is disclosed, which includes: a setting unit (10), an encryption module (11), for setting the screen lock password of the mobile terminal and an information return verification password; a password verification module (12), for verifying the released screen lock password input by users; a detection module (18), for triggering a power management module (13) when detecting the SIM card pulled out, the battery pulled out or the battery dead of the mobile terminal beyond the length of time; the power management module (13), for stopping the battery of the mobile terminal to supply power, and then using a standby power supply to supply power to an information return module (14), an information deleting module (15), a positioning module (16) and SIMI; the information return module (14), for verifying the information return verification password after receiving it, returning the information in a setting storage area when passing; the information deleting module (15), for deleting the returned information; the positioning module (16), for positioning the mobile terminal, and periodically transmitting the positioning information to a network side or an appointed mobile terminal. An anti-theft method for mobile terminal is also disclosed. |
