<p>A hidden security gate system for an entryway and a method for securing an entryway are provided. The gate can be alarmed to protect the entryway of a building and can be activated by remote control to close and open automatically. The system provided allows for the visual aspects of the gate system to be hidden from view when not in use. The hiding of the gate system allows for the proper aesthetics of the building's entryway to be preserved. The sliding gate is hidden inside the system and flaps are used to hide the gate tracks. In case of power failure or other malfunction, a manual override can be included with the system to open the gate from the outside by a locked control box or from the inside by an indoor access panel.</p> |
