<p>Provided is a panel for an air conditioning indoor unit, which has safety as well as an excellent design without a special treatment for the end faces of members that constitute the panel. In a movable panel (31) of an air conditioning indoor unit (1), grooves (312a) in which the end faces of a first panel member (311) are engaged, are formed at the end portions of a second panel member (312). The end faces of the first panel member (311) are covered by the grooves (312a) and, accordingly, are concealed from view and are not touched by hands. Consequently, in processes for production of the movable panel (31), an assembler can transfer the first panel (31) which has been pressed, to an assembling process without an end face treatment such as chamfering or hemming.
