<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, transmitting apparatus, receiving apparatus and communication control method for properly controlling communication when delay occurs. <P>SOLUTION: When a server 20 transmits data, an RTO timer 204a3 in the server 20 is reset to start measuring the time. When a radio terminal 10 receives data, on the other hand, the radio terminal 10 transmits ACK as an acknowledgement. An RTO Reset Request timer 104a3 in the radio terminal 10 is reset to start measuring the time. If the radio terminal 10 receives no data from the server 20 thereafter, no ACK is transmitted, and the RTO Reset Request timer 104a3 reaches time-out, the radio terminal 10 transmits RRReq for resetting the RTO timer 204a3 in the server 20 to the server 20.
