PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device equipped with an region-segmentation analog touch panel that prevents ghost coordinates from being detected as touch point coordinates when a user touches three points simultaneously.
SOLUTION: When the coordinates of a touch point detected in a k-th (k=1, 2, 3, 4) area are defined as (Xk, Yk), an input device determines touch point coordinates (X1, Y1) as ghost coordinates when ¾X1-X2¾<DIFF and ¾Y1-Y3¾<DIFF are satisfied, determines touch point coordinates (X2, Y2) as ghost coordinates when ¾X2-X1<DIFF and ¾Y2-Y4¾<DIFF are satisfied, determines touch point coordinates (X3, Y3) as ghost coordinates when ¾X3-X4¾<DIFF and ¾Y3-Y1¾<DIFF are satisfied, and determines touch point coordinates (X4, Y4) as ghost coordinates when ¾X4-X3¾<DIFF and ¾Y4-Y2¾<DIFF are satisfied. The DIFF is a predetermined value of 0 or greater.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
|
