<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device of fuel consumption saving type as improvement of the conventional technique involving such problems that a resume request or a vehicle starting request may be generated during the engine being in inertial rotation owing to a fuel cut when idle stop is requested, and in this case, the motion of starting with resumption of fuel injection is overlapped with the motion of driving the starter, to result in wear of a ring gear and a pinion gear and a problem of durability may occur, and also an enlarged collision torque may generate a collision sound of the ring gear with the pinion gear and a bite-in sound at the moment of meshing. <P>SOLUTION: A control device for vehicle having an idle stop function is arranged so that the method of driving the starter is changed on the basis of the engine revolving behavior after return to combustion is executed by the engine combustion returning function responding to a resume request or a vehicle starting request placed during the engine being in inertial rotation owing to a fuel cut when an idle stop request is placed, or the engine condition when a change-of-mind has occurred. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
