<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrode material which has a higher charge storage capacity per unit mass than those of a conventional negative electrode of a proton polymer battery and a conventional capacitor electrode and has a high chemical stability. <P>SOLUTION: A benzimidazobenzophenanthroline ladder (BBL) polymer represented by formula (1) is used as the electrode material. By this means, compared with a conventional polyphenyl quinoxaline (PPQ), the charge storage capacity per unit mass can be increased remarkably, and furthermore, chemical stability can be also enhanced. By using this electrode material, a proton polymer battery and a capacitor with a high performance can be manufactured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
