<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage water heater having improved cleaning effects. <P>SOLUTION: The storage water heater capable of reheating bath water within a bathtub by exchanging heat between hot water stored in a hot water storage tank and the bath water within the bathtub by a heat exchanger includes: a circulation pipe line leading from the bathtub through the heat exchanger and returning to the bathtub; water filling piping connected to the circulation pipe line and capable of filling hot water to inside of the circulation pipe line; a water filling ejector arranged in the middle of the water filling piping and capable of generating microscopic bubbles for cleaning inside of the circulation pipe line in the hot water within the water filling pipe line; a filling water flow rate control device controlling a filling water flow rate from the water filling piping; and a control means periodically fluctuating the filling water flow rate by the filling water flow rate control device so that the generation amount of the microscopic bubbles by the water filling ejector is periodically changed when inside of the circulation pipe line is cleaned by filling the hot water including the microscopic bubbles in to inside of the circulation pipe line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
