Methods and systems of performing cell change for a circuit- switched call without a mobile station receiving a description of resources in a target cell are provided. In some embodiments, a command is generated at the serving cell which indicates to the mobile station to perform a cell change without first receiving a description of resources in the target cell (5-2).
