<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source apparatus including a light guide plate, a first light emitting unit, and a second light emitting unit. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide plate includes a first surface, a second surface facing to the first surface, a first side surface, and a second side surface facing to the first side surface. The first light emitting unit is arranged in a periphery of the first side surface, provides a first luminous flux, and the first luminous flux enters the light guide plate via the first side surface. The second light emitting unit is positioned in a periphery of the second side surface, provides a second luminous flux. The second luminous flux enters the light guide plate via the second side surface. The first light emitting unit has a center line passing through a geometric center of the first light emitting unit and is perpendicular to the first side surface. The second light emitting unit has a center line which passes through a geometric center of the second light emitting unit and is perpendicular to the second side surface.
