<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring-like forging material for an outer ring in a bearing incorporated to a hub, which is enhanced in structural functionality by means of forging capable of axially shaping the outer ring of the bearing instead of CRF (cold rolling forming). <P>SOLUTION: An outer race 21 to be incorporated to a first-generation hub unit 20 is formed from an outer race forging material 1 for a ring-like bearing having an upper race and lower race 5 for rolling a rolling element 7 composed of a ball 7a or roller 7b at upper and lower portions of an inner peripheral irregular portion 6 of an inner periphery 2. The outer race 21 is differed in width between lateral races so as to be incorporated to the hub unit 20. The outer face forging material 1 having the upper race 4 or lower race 5 is formed in a shape in which either the width 4a of the upper race or the width 5a of the lower race on the inner periphery 2 is changed while maintaining the shape of a ring outer periphery 3 thereof without change, whereby the function of the outer race forging material 1 is varied to enhance the functionality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
