PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a magnetic force from being lost in a reactor to properly convert a voltage by a converter by suppressing an iron loss increase of the reactor even in increasing a switching loss of the converter. SOLUTION: The converter 20 includes a plurality of switching elements 21, 22 for stepping up a DC power of a battery 40. In the converter 20, a capacitor is connected in parallel between connection edges of the emitters and collectors of the switching elements 21, 22 and both ends of the battery 40, and a reactor 24 is connected in series. In this case, the switching elements 21, 22 are subjected to intermittent switching control so that they are repeatedly turned on and off in a short period during an on interval by a control unit 11.
