PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver for performing reception by suppressing an influence by a difference in reception power between channels, and also to provide a transmitter-receiver. SOLUTION: A mixer 34 converts the frequencies of a plurality of received radio frequency channel signals in accordance with a local oscillation signal. A BPF 41 converts power of the radio frequency channel signal in accordance with attenuation characteristics for attenuating a partial frequency area with respect to the radio frequency channel signal with the frequency converted therein. A determining part 81 determines the specified radio frequency channel signal, on the basis of reception signal power of each one of the radio frequency channel signals. A control part 91 controls the frequency of the local oscillation signal so as to make the reception signal power of the specified radio frequency channel signal determined by the determining part 81 be attenuated in accordance with the attenuation characteristics.
