PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radio communication apparatus which efficiently selects a communication connection destination apparatus so as to reduce a time until radio communication conforming to a radio communication specification of Bluetooth(R) or the like is started. SOLUTION: A radio communication apparatus conforms to the Bluetooth(R) that is a radio communication specification for communicating by connecting apparatuses wirelessly. The radio communication apparatus selects an apparatus which becomes a candidate of a communication connection destination based on a specific profile of Bluetooth(R) among profiles of Bluetooth(R) that the apparatus itself can handle.
