PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the location of desired search objects by reducing a user's trouble with selecting a search condition using a value preferably changeable in notation by use with another choice. SOLUTION: An information search method includes an attribute holding step of holding attributes of content, a notation change relationship holding step of holding relationship information indicating attribute relationships for changes in notation of attributes, and a notation change step of changing the notation of other attributes in dependence on the use of attributes according to the relationship information.
