PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound information transmission system that transmits sound information in a communication service using character information. SOLUTION: The sound information transmission system is configured as follows: a keyboard screen including a keyboard metaphor imitating a keyboard in a first user terminal is displayed on a touch panel when transmitting a message from the first user terminal to a second user terminal by using a communication server that registers, stores, and searches of the message; a character corresponding to each of designated keys is input so as to prepare the message; and a predetermined hash tag is added to the prepared message and then transmitted to the communication server. In the second user terminal, a request for acquiring the message is issued to the communication server by using the predetermined hash tag, and the character information included in the message acquired from the communication server is converted into the sound information by referring to a conversion table so as to generate sound.
