Provided is a reactor including: a coil; and a core which includes an inner core portion disposed in the coil, and an outer core portion configured to cover an outer side of the coil. A saturation flux density of the inner core portion of the reactor is higher than a saturation flux density of the outer core portion, and a magnetic permeability of the outer core portion is lower than a magnetic permeability of the inner core portion. The reactor is formed of a mixture of a magnetic material and a resin, and a case of the reactor includes a heat transfer unit disposed in an inner wall surface of the case to function as a heat dissipation structure for at least one of the coil and the inner core portion. Even when the outer side of the coil is covered a core material, the reactor may effectively diffuse heat generated in the reactor.
