PURPOSE: A specific primer for determining Suhan strains in Pleurotus ostreatus is provided to identify characteristics of Pleurotus ostreatus. CONSTITUTION: A SCAR(sequence characterized amplified region) primer set for determining Suhan strains in Pleurotus ostreatus contains one or more oligonucleotides selected from oligonucleotides containing 15 or more serial nucleotides in sequence number 1; and one or more oligonucleotides selected from oligonucleotides containing 15 or more serial nucleotides in sequence number 2. A SCAR primer set contains oligonucleotide primer of sequence numbers 1 and 2. A kit for determining Suhan strains in Pleurotus ostreatus contains the primer and reagent.
