<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a stereo acoustic signal in which a localization component is emphasized or suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: Each of unit processing sections U[n] creates a processing coefficient sequence Ge_n comprised of coefficient values Ge[1]_n to Ge[K] for each frequency from stereo acoustic signals SIN_L and SIN_R. A signal processing section 38 operates N pieces of processing coefficient sequences Ge_1 to Ge_N created by each of the unit processing sections U[n] upon the acoustic signals SIN_L and SIN_R. A parameter setting section 32 sets localization parameters α1 to αN. The unit processing section U[n] includes: a difference component-generating part 54 which subtracts one of the acoustic signals SIN_L and SIN_R from the other in a ratio corresponding to a localization parameter αn to generate a difference component Sn in which the localization component at a position corresponding to the localization parameter αn is suppressed; and a coefficient sequence-generating part 60 which generates the processing coefficient sequence Ge_n for emphasizing or suppressing the localization component corresponding to the localization parameter αn from a sum component M of the acoustic signals SIN_L and SIN_R and the difference component Sn generated by the difference component-generating part 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
