<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printing device, configured so that an original format can be formed. <P>SOLUTION: The tape printing device includes a format data creation means which creates printing format data which regulates a printing frame for printing by setting an enclosure frame input by handwriting to a size falling inside a tape width and setting a position, a size and a character string format for an item printing area, and also creates display format data which regulates a display frame for display; an input position designation means which designates item printing areas one by one as character input positions through a touch panel in a state where a display frame is displayed on a display screen; a printing data creation means which creates printing data for a character string with a printing frame by generating printing data for the printing frame and developing printing data for character data within a corresponding item printing area according to the format set by the printing format data; and a printing control means which causes a printing means to print the character string with the printing frame on a tape member based on the printing data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
