<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing case for a fusion splicing machine, the housing case facilitating portability for operation, improving workability for fusion splicing, and, in addition, increasing impact resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The housing case 1 includes: a box part 10 composed of a bottom, a front situated on the side of an operator, a pair of side faces 14 facing each other, and a back 15 oppositely facing the front; a lid part 20 that is installed in the upper position of the box part 10 to be opened and closed and that seals the opening of the box part 10; a body belt 30 that is attached to an end on the operator's side of the pair of side faces 14 and that fastens the body of the operator; and a suspension belt 40 that is installed on each of the pair of side faces 14, with one end to the back 15 from the center of gravity of a fusion splicing machine in one of the side faces, that is mounted in a position to the front from the fusion part of the fusion splicing machine, with the other end mounted on the end on the operator's side of one side face, and that is adjustable in length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
