<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-piece reel that prevents deformation of a flange bonded to a hub which is deformed inward in the radial direction by a pressure caused by a recording tape wound thereon. <P>SOLUTION: The reel 20 includes a tubular hub 22, a first flange 24, a second flange 26, and positioning portions 23. A projection portion 22A that projects in a radial direction is formed on an inner circumference of the hub 22. The first flange 24 includes a first extension portion 24A which is extended in the axial direction of the hub 22 from a first flange portion 24B provided at one end of the hub 22 and is bonded to the projection portion 22A. The second flange 26 includes a second extension portion 26A which is extended in the axial direction of the hub 22 from a second flange portion 26B provided at the other end of the hub 22 and is bonded to the projection portion 22A. The positioning portions 23 regulate, in the radial direction, positions of distal ends 24C and 26C of the first extension portion 24A and the second extension portion 26A relative to the hub 22.
