PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the vibration reduction effect of an actuator which generates a vibration-damping vibration for reducing the vibration of a car body while the displacement of an engine is restricted by a stopper of a vibration isolating mount which is equipped with the stopper for restricting the displacement of an engine. SOLUTION: This vibration isolating device includes the vibration isolating mount 5, the actuator 30 which generates the vibration-damping vibration for reducing the vibration of a car body, and a control device 50 which controls the actuator 30 in response to the vibration of the car body which is detected by a vibration sensor 51. The vibration isolating mount 5 includes a mounting part 22 on which a connecting part 2a of the engine is mounted, and the stopper 24 which restricts the displacement of the engine. The control device 50 changes the control characteristic of the actuator 30 according to an abutting state which is determined by an abutting state determination means 57 based on a state quantity detected by an abutting state detecting means 52 which detects the state quantity relevant to the abutting state between the stopper 24 and the connecting part 2a or a projected part 22a of the mounting part 22.
