PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily supply water without spilling humidification water and to improve humidifying efficiency in a portable compact natural evaporation type humidifier. SOLUTION: In this natural evaporation type humidifier, a humidifying element 5 includes an extensible expansion and contraction section 5A, and an extended extension section 5B, and a housing includes a first member 2 to which one side of the expansion and contraction section of the humidifying element is attached, a second member 3 to which the other side of the expansion and contraction section of the humidifying element is attached, and a third member 4 provided with a space for storing the humidifying element and the water inside thereof. The first member is mounted on an upper part of the second member through a connecting section, the third member is mounted on a lower part of the second member, the extension section of the humidifying element is disposed in a space inside of the third member through a communication hole formed on the second member, and the extension section absorbs the water stored inside of the third member, and the expansion and contraction section evaporates the water absorbed by the extension section to atmosphere.
